File Security

Design File Security in Private Label Production

The Digital Pattern as Intellectual Property

A digital design file is the modern equivalent of a master mold. It contains the exact proportions, stitch patterns, and structural secrets that give a luxury product its form and character. In the wrong hands, these files can be easily copied and distributed, destroying months of creative development. At Mooseloom, we treat your digital assets with the same reverence and security as we do physical raw materials.

Our Multi Tiered Digital Security

From the moment you transmit your technical packs, digital patterns, or 3D renderings to our team, they enter a highly secure digital environment. We do not use unsecured public cloud services or public file sharing platforms to store your proprietary data. Instead, your files are hosted on private, encrypted servers with restricted access controls.

Traceable Internal Access Controls

Only the specific designers, pattern makers, and production managers assigned to your project are granted access to your files. Each access event is logged, creating a transparent audit trail. Our local network is protected by enterprise grade firewalls and continuous monitoring systems to detect and prevent unauthorized data transfers. We also enforce strict policies against the use of personal devices or external storage media within our design department.

Physical Security on the Production Floor

Digital security is only half the battle. Physical security is equally vital. When digital designs are translated into physical patterns, templates, or prototypes, they are managed under strict supervision. Physical patterns are stamped with unique identifiers and kept in locked storage cabinets when not in use on the cutting tables.

No Cameras and Strict Control Protocols

We do not allow photography on our production floor. Visitors, subcontractors, and off duty staff are strictly prohibited from carrying cameras or mobile phones into active manufacturing zones. This prevents accidental capture of your designs in the background of images. Every prototype, sample, and scrap of unused fabric bearing your proprietary shape is accounted for. Defective samples or surplus materials are shredded or incinerated within our facility, ensuring they can never be salvaged or studied.

Lifecycle Management and Secure Deletion

Our responsibility to your files does not end when production is complete. We maintain a clear policy on the lifecycle of your digital assets. Once a production run is finalized and delivered, we archive your files in an offline, encrypted vault for a predetermined period to facilitate future reorders.

Purging Your Proprietary Data Securely

If you decide to transition a product line or end our collaboration, we will, upon your request, permanently purge all digital copies of your designs from our active systems and archives. This deletion is conducted using secure overwrite protocols that make recovery impossible. Physical templates and prototypes are either returned to you or destroyed under witness. We believe that your designs are yours to control, from initial sketch to final deletion.
